Eagle is a symbol of power, victory and prosperity, as well as a symbol of empire.
Lily is emblem of regal life since the Middle Ages. It is a character of the marsh iris and it become a symbol for the king of Francs, Claudius, since the victory over Visigoths in the 5th century.
On the heraldic lily is written the famous Cesar's sentence: "VENI, VIDI, VICI" ("I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED"), pronounced on the 2nd August 47 B.C., after a victory over the army of Farnak II in Zela. Moreover, it's very prestigious to have a Latin motto written in the logotype like respect for the Roman Civilization.
Lastly, in the claws of the eagle, there is a parchment where is clearly written the Seneca's motto: "PER ASPERA AD ASTRA" ; it figuratively means that "nobody can succeed without working hard".
